Hey, Everybody! My new and improved  — mobile friendly — website is up and running, and I feel like my 8-year-old self on the day my dad presented me with a brand new — used — inner tube with my name on it. It was ready to take me places, and I was ready to go.

So welcome, friends, family, colleagues and newcomers! I hope you’ll browse around a bit and enjoy my website’s new, mobile-friendly look and the — 500-plus — stories I’ve posted here. And . . . I hope you’ll subscribe.

The stories are riffs on life from the point of view of a twenty-first-century woman with a career, a husband, two grown-up kids, a conscience — and an incurable case of the human condition.

Think of this site as a book — the collected musings of a woman of years, lots of them, who looks to find the humor, and maybe even the meaning, in what life throws her way.

You’ll find missives from my young mom years, reports from my rocky spiritual journey, and portraits of my encounters with nature, wild and tame. Also, meditations on that getting older thing that all my friends seem to be doing these days.

Search for stories by category — My Ever-Changing Family.  My Rocky Spiritual Journey,  On Writing and Reading and A Case of the Human Condition. And for humor, just push my Funny Button.

You can also explore using the Search Box up top if you’re interested in specific topics, like nature, fashion, arts and crafts, weddings, kids, marriage.

I’d like to stay in touch, so I hope you’ll sign up for an email subscription. Or follow me on Twitter or Facebook. The sign-up icons are on your right, toward the top of the column. And, no, I will not share your email address with anyone.

Take Me With You. I’m Mobile-Friendly

I’ll be updating this site every week or so, keeping you company on your mobile device as you wait in line at the supermarket or take a seat in your dentist’s waiting room. See you on your laptop at home — or out and about on your cell.
