Can’t help myself. I found a few more photos taken at last week’s Bouquets to Art show at the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco. Gotta share this bunch of bouquets. Enjoy!

“Eclosion” by Thanh Nguyen with Keith Haring’s painting “Untitled” 1986. Bouquet relies heavily on plastic tubing, but picks up nicely on the commotion of Haring’s painting. Photo by Barbara Newhall
"Flowers for all Reasons" by Judy Clark, accompanies Helen Frankenthaler's painting "Free Wheeling" 1971 at the DeYoung Museum. Photo by Barbara Newhall
“Flowers for all Reasons” by Judy Clark makes subtle use of a bicycle wheel to interpret Helen Frankenthaler’s  “Free Wheeling,” 1971.  I like the way the horizontal, linear posing of the blossoms comments on the linearity of the art.  Photo by Barbara Newhall

Jesus was a loser who couldn’t keep his hair out of his eyes. That’s satirist Scott Dikkers channeling Donald Trump in his new — very funny — book “Trump’s America: The Loser’s Guide.” Read more.
