In a little more than twenty-four hours our son Peter would be a married man. But first, he and Jon had to pick up their wedding duds at the local Men’s Wearhouse. Our daughter spent the afternoon getting fit in the hotel gym. My dress and accessories were ready, so I took pictures.

My outfit was complete: Purple knit gown by Lauren from Bloomingdale’s, black stretch sandals by Impo from DSW. (Cheaper and more comfy than the the silver sandals I’d been looking at.) The gown was less than $200 and the shoes around $40 — so I splurged and bought myself the earrings and bracelet by Swarovsky.

Barbie, I know you’re not supposed to focus on the mothers instead of the bride and grooom, but that’s going to be hard for people because you look so stunning – but cute at the same time. No wonder peter is so good-looking. I’m glad you took pictures because it does give me a sense of being there with you. I’m happy for your family. Sharie
